Not very often when I come away from a match and not have must to write about, but to be honest a howling wind blowing straight down the centre of the pitch for 90 minutes certainly didnt aid any of the players who tried their best, but at times poor finishing with shots going astray from both sides didnt help their cause.
Calverton probably had the better of the chances and must be disappointed to leave Gresham with just a point, while AFC's unbeaten start to their debut season in the NSL will no doubt spur them on to their next match. Good performance by the referee who tried to allow the game to flow as much as he could.
